Unitec Veterinary Hospital & Akarana Veterinary Clinic

Unitec Veterinary Hospital and Akarana Veterinary Clinic provides a high quality, comprehensive veterinary service to the general public.  The Unitec Veterinary clinic was established in 1995 as an integral part of the Unitec Veterinary Nursing course. It was one of the first vet clinics in New Zealand to achieve NZ Veterinary Association Best Practise Accreditation, and is still one of only two accredited clinics in Auckland City.

Our philosophy is to provide the general public with the highest quality veterinary care for their pets.  At the end of 2006 Unitec Veterinary Hospital joined with St Lukes Veterinary Clinic to form Auckland Veterinary Group.  While we continue to operate seperately, our combined resources and knowledge allows us to provide the best care for your pet.

In July 2009 Unitec Veterinary Hospital acquired Akarana Veterinary Clinic  and continues to operate this as a branch practice. Unitec Vet Hospital  is situated just inside entrance 3 of the Unitec grounds, off Carrington Rd, Mt Albert.  Akarana Vet Clinic is situated at 373 Mt Albert Rd, Mt Roskill. Parking is conveniently available outside both clinics.
